Nigeria should not die for this!

Insurgence, the wrong way to communicate grievance. Corruption, the wrong rout to success and definitely not the answer to our common plight (poverty) talking on individual basis. Referring back to history, from our independence till now, Nigeria has been handed over from one corrupt individual to another. Apart from the fact that we have a government that is barely two weeks old, and also this same person's government in 1983, no president can beat his chest in a godzila fashion and say "probe me, I'm not corrupt" the fear of probe is the reason why Nigeria has been ruled by governments with stolen mandates since the past three electoral tenures. Nigeria should not be left to drown on her own history, she must make her own mistakes, make amends and recover from it. She must be given hope that if any government fails, the next one might treat her better, because she deserve it. Its a shame how old we are and how many times we have failed to produce that one person to lead Nigeria through that painstaking path to redemption. Some times I wonder to myself and I'll say "are there no true patriots in Nigeria? When you make reference to the republic of SouthAfrica, they had Nelson Mandela, God bless his soul. Refer to Ghana, they had Jerry rawlins. Lee kwan yew rescued Singapore. Who will rescue Nigeria? Let me wonder aloud for the first time, its been a long time coming and Nigeria has not seen that one true nationalist, that would ring that change of safety, that change of "by the book" mentality that has tortured her over the years. Where is that revolutionist, where is that redeemer? This is a marriage we don't want to let die. Don't tell her to stay with you if you can't guarantee safety, if you can't guarantee economic freedom, If you can't guarantee food security, if you can't guarantee security of lives and properties. Its a guarantee she'll surely die of the wounds this salient vices are threatening to inflict.
